Hi :)

I'll start the introductions.

I'm Nancy, the 2-D, the painting & decorating half of Circa Ceramics; my partner (and significant other) is Andy; he's the 3-D, the shape designer and creator of our ware. We work out of our space on the North side of Chicago, in the North Center neighborhood (on Ravenswood, between Addison & Irving Park). It's just the 2 of us, because we're control freaks and keep REALLY weird hours - We like it that way :)

Before Etsy, our only exposure was by participating in Art Festivals around the city and in the surrounding burbs, like Evanston and Deerfield, and by word of mouth for cafeware.

But now, in the few short months we've had our shop, we've been seen by indie design bloggers, boutiques and people who just like what we're doing. So, in short, our business is growing more :)

What we'd like from being in the Street Team is a sounding board and support from fellow artisans & artists, and in return we'd give the same. We'd also like to help out the newbies to Etsy and the art fair & craft circuit, because we know how hard it can be your first year out!

And of course, promote Etsy EVERYWHERE!

Go Team!
